Questions learners ask

Do I need anything before my first lesson?

Yes, you'll need a valid UK provisional driving licence. You can apply for one on GOV.UK. Bring it to your first lesson.

What can I drive with an automatic licence?

If you pass your test in an automatic car you can drive automatic cars only. For most people that's all they'll ever need, and automatics are now very common.

How many lessons will I need?

Everyone is different. DVSA figures suggest learners who pass have had around 45 hours of lessons plus 22 hours of private practice on average. We'll give you an honest view once we've driven together.

Which test centres do you cover?

Both Wigston Test Centre and Cannock Street Test Centre in Leicester, including route practice and mock tests.
